Dynamic spring-loaded elbow / wrist orthosis
The combination brace CDS® Elbow/Wrist is based on the CDS®-principle and has been designed to treat an ex- tension deficit in elbow and wrist. The brace applies a dynamic low load prolonged stretch to stimulate growth in the contracted tissue.
Indications
- Joint contractures due to:
- Surgery
- Conservative treatment of capsular ligament injury
- Stroke
- Paralysis
- Craniocerebral injury
- Burns
- Before and after joint replacement
- Arthrosis and chromic polyarthritis
- To prevent recurring constracures following arthrolysis
- Spasticity following surgery on the central nervous system
- Muscle dystrophy
