Shoulder joint orthosis for physiological guidance and
stabilisation
The omosan Shoulder Brace adapts well to the body thanks to its partially elastic bandage material. The material surrounding the shoulder, which is fastened on the other side via the armpit with a strap, ensures that the humeral head is returned to its original position and prevents subluxation. The forearm cuff with its adjustable straps ensures that the entire arm is pulled towards the head.
Indications
- Subluxation of the shoulder in hemiplegia
- Paralysis of the muscles surrounding the shoulder
- Lesion of the brachial plexus
- Peripheral nerve damage in the cervical spine and shoulder region
- Mild to moderate instability of the shoulder joint
- Conservative treatment for habitual shoulder dislocation
